COVID-19 Policy

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) pandemic, and are in regular communication with our city and county agency partners. At this time, there are no scheduling alterations planned for our upcoming events. We will continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation with the direction of local and state officials, and any updates to our events will be posted on our website and communicated through as many other all channels possible. There will be no change fee if the event is canceled due to COVID - 19 cancellation

St. George Marathon and Mini Marathon Registration will be open on April 1st, 2021 at 12:01 am MST. 

Before completing your registration please read our registration policies. 

2021 Marathon Fees are as follows:
  • April 1 - April 30:  $95;  10 Year Club discounts will apply.
  • May 1 - May 31:  $110;  10 Year Club discounts will apply.
  • June 1 - June 30:  $125;  ALL runners will pay this late registration fee; 10 Year Club discounts no longer apply after May 31st.  

2021 Mini Marathon Fees are as follows:

  • April 1 - April 30:  $75;  10 Year Club discounts do not apply.
  • May 1 - May 31:  $85;  10 Year Club discounts do not apply.
  • June 1 - June 30:  $95;  ALL runners will pay this late registration fee;

Frequently Asked Questions


The 2021 St. George Marathon will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021. St George Mini Marathon Runners will start at 6:15 a.m. and St George Marathon Runners will start at 7:00 a.m.

Please remember that Utah is on Mountain Daylight Savings Time — Mesquite and Las Vegas are not.

The Expo/Packet Pick-up is held on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Dixie Convention Center, 1835 Convention Center Drive, St. George, Utah.

The St. George Marathon will be incorporating fee increases throughout the registration period. All Marathon Fees are non-refundable and do not include a processing fee.

Consistent with the marathon running industry standard all entry fees are NON-refundable. Bib numbers are NON-transferable. The selling and/or giving away of a St. George Marathon bib number is not allowed and will result in disqualification of both the original bib owner and the runner using the bib number. Both runners will be prohibited from participation in the St. George 

If you choose to transfer your entry to another person, you are responsible for arranging payment for the entry with the person you are transferring it to. To transfer distances, the distance you wish to transfer to must not be sold out. You can upgrade or downgrade prior to September 1 (while spots remain). You will be required to pay the current cost difference. In addition, you will pay a $5.00 USD change fee. If necessary, you can transfer between events and to another person at the same time. Use the deferment process to transfer to next year's event.

IMPORTANT:  This is the ONLY authorized way to transfer your entry to another person. Bib numbers are NON-transferable. The selling and/or giving away of a St. George Marathon bib number is not allowed and will result in disqualification of both the original bib owner and the runner using the bib number. Both runners will be prohibited from participating in the St. George Marathon for a minimum of two years. 

To transfer your entry, log into your Participant account. Once logged in, select the ‘Transfer Request’ button on the dashboard screen and follow the prompts.

Deferring allows you to receive a credit that you can apply to next year's event. Credit will be given for the amount paid minus the change fee ($5). When you defer, you will receive an email with a code and a link that you will use to redeem your credit. You are not automatically entered for next year's event. You will need to register for next year's event using the link provided when registration opens. Your deferment credit may only be used once and will expire within two years.

Sorry. No. You, and ONLY you must pick up your bib number with a picture ID. Bib numbers and race packets will not be given to anyone other than the registered runner. Please do not send family members or friends to the EXPO with your ID to pick up your packet. This will be a waste of their time and our staffs time. Thank you!

We do offer packet pick-up at bus loading on Saturday morning beginning at 4:00 am.

You have the option to contact our Official Marathon Charities, they may still have a few guaranteed entries available. Another option is to visit our STG on the RUN page for a list of races in Utah that have been awarded an entry to the St. George Marathon to be given out at their event.
