Welcome to the eNet

Based on further conversations with and direction from local authorities, including medical, health and safety leaders in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the best interest of our St. George marathon community, the St. George Marathon and Mini Marathon will not take place in 2020. In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time globally, we recognize that this may come as a disappointment, but assure you that our commitment to our athletes and the success of our sport is stronger than ever. Each participant will be receiving an email with further information. If you have additional questions, please contact marathon@sgcity.org.

All St. George Marathon entrants will be offered a full refund of their entry fee or have the option to defer with automatic entry into next year’s race. This deferment will save your spot in the next year's marathon capped at 4,000 for the full and 3,000 for the mini-marathon. Each runner will receive an informational email asking them to choose by September 15, 2020, how they would like to proceed. Due to the volume of refunds being processed, the length of time before receiving your refund may be multiple weeks. We appreciate your patience and assure you we will process all requests as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, some obstacles could not be overcome to ensure that this event could continue as the world-class marathon that it is known to be. As you may imagine it takes a great deal of planning to host a world-class event like ours and we fought and planned up until the last possible moment to make it happen. Unfortunately, based on continuing conversations with local authorities, including medical, health and safety leaders, it is in the best interest of the athletes and our local community to forgo the 44th St George Marathon in 2020.

No. This year will not be counted as a cumulative year.  The Marathon will have no record this year and continue on next year.

Registration for the 2021 St. George Marathon will open April 1, 2021.

Yes. Information on how to receive your refund for purchases such as the Dinner Ticket, Trifecta and Mayors Walk will be communicated by email. All other merchandise items will be sent out by September 15, 2020.  You will have until August 30, 2020, to choose to fulfill your apparel order or receive a refund on any of the extra purchases. Due to the volume of refunds being processed, the length of time before receiving your refund may be multiple weeks. We appreciate your patience and assure you we will process all requests as quickly as possible.

Please look for a future email from our charity partners. We are currently working on this situation.

We are sorry to say, but there will not be a virtual option available for the St. George Marathon or Mini-Marathon. Our course is not easily accessible and for the safety of our runners, we discourage runners on the course without road closure and barricades. We hope that you join us in 2021 for a great race.

No. But you are welcome to purchase anything you’d like from our merchandise store here!

Yes, if you would like to receive an elite or sub-elite bib, you must send your elite application to marathon@sgcity.org. If you choose to defer and register in 2021, this will not guarantee an elite entry.

The St. George Marathon has a standard procedure for handling new or changed credit card numbers. If we encounter any challenges, we will reach out to you directly. Please note that this could take several days as our card processor must individually trace each transaction. Please do not send new credit card information via email.
