Poster Design Contest Rules

We would like to offer the opportunity for anyone to submit designs for our 2006 poster contest, and help us celebrate 30 YEARS RUNNING.
Winner of the contest will receive a free 3-night stay for two in St. George, October 5th – 7th to participate in the marathon festivities. The winner will also receive one free entrance into the 2006 St. George Marathon.
Deadline for artwork is June 15th, 2006.

Poster size must be at least 18”x24” and no larger than 33”x23”.
Text on poster must have reference to October 7th, 2006, and 30 YEARS RUNNING. It must also include the IHC logo which can be accessed on the “sponsors” page of the marathon website. If no text is submitted, or the St. George Marathon prefers to use a different text, entrant understands that the St. George Marathon (in consultation with the artist) will add/change the text/logo into or around the design.
Submissions must be burned on a CD and made compatible to a PC computer and in PDF, Indesign (CS or CS2), or Illustrator (CS or CS2) format. (Please include entrance sheet.)
All submissions must be mailed or delivered by hand to:

The winner will be notified by phone or e-mail by July 1st, 2006.
Persons or businesses that use our logo or change it without express permission from Kathleen Heaton, Project and Events Assistant for the St. George Marathon, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
